At Camp Endeavor, we embrace a uniquely wholistic approach to weight loss management for youth between the ages of 9 - 17 years. Our philosophy is based upon the experience and research of nutritionists, exercise physiologists, psychologists and adults who have succeeded in their own weight loss management.
Our intention at Camp Endeavor is to empower youth for whom healthy weight is a challenge. Our logo keeps us focused on our philosophy and intention. The circle represents our wholistic approach to youth, weight loss and the constant support that your camper will receive in his or her efforts while at summer camp and after returning home. The triangle speaks to the perspectives of mind, body and spirit which shape our summer camp's activities & programs, educational components, dining environment and outings. The triangle also refers to the elements of knowledge, skill development and desire, which make effective change in weight loss possible. This will in turn empower and create an "I can do this" belief in oneself. Our camper is grasping a star which portrays the active pursuit in any chosen endeavor. The wavy lines which form the triangle depict the 'ebb and flow' of our efforts, acknowledging that the challenge of achieving a healthy weight is difficult, especially in today's world. We believe that time spent at Camp Endeavor will provide your child with the skills and tools to usher in a new day, a new beginning in his/her pursuit of a healthy weight.
